The mission of the Stanley Area Historical Society is to preserve the history of the area through the collection of artifacts and educate the public with displays/exhibits and programs. The local museum has over 10,000 sq. ft. of exhibit space that tell the history of the area and the people who have inhabited it since the late 1800’s. A constant at the museum is the exhibiting of many artifacts, photographs, and information available from many written sources.
The museum has a need for four volunteers to cover several openings. If you would consider helping call 715-644-5880 and someone will contact you.
The museum has hand sanitizers and masks for those desiring to use them.
