Stanley VFW and American Legion bought items to ship in their yearly care packages for the Military.
They included letters written by the students from school.
Next year the VFW and Legion would hope to team up with the Stanley/Boyd school to do this as a school project, said Bruce Wozniak.
"We have thoroughly enjoyed the Veteran's Day Program the Stanley/Boyd school has put on and we would love to have their assistance next year in collecting items and packing the care packages." The Military appreciates receiving these packages. The Stanley American Legion/VFW does fundraisers throughout the year in order to purchase items and shipping. "Receiving a care package is motivating and raises moral for a military member. We enjoy showing our appreciation to thank them for their service" said Wozniak.
