Make a Difference Day is on its way!
Arriving Tuesday Nov. 4, Make a Difference Day is a chance for elderly residents of the Stanley and Boyd area to get help with fall chores.
Those senior citizens who would like help raking leaves have until Friday, Oct. 24 to contact the SBHS Student Council at 715-644-5534 ext 133 or email Kayleigh Steinmetz at ksteinmetz@s-bschools.org and make the list for fall chore help.
Steinmetz sharing more on what Make A Difference Day is all about.
“As a school, we all go through town and perform different service activities,” she said. “Make A Difference Day, specifically, helps elderly people get their yards ready for winter. Student Council has been doing this for 20 years.”
