First up for those seeking to be the next Miss Boyd is Stanley-Boyd Junior Brielle Thompson. The daughter of Joy and Darrick Thompson, Brielle has three siblings: Xavier, Marcus and Braxton. Among those things Brielle is involved in for school activities are the National Honors Society, Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), Art Club, Drama Club, Band, Choir, student council, prom committee, basketball, volleyball, and track.
As to community activities, Brielle serves at church as an altar server, helps at the food pantry, rakes leaves and is also the assistant for summer theater. For hobbies and interests, Brielle lists music, art, and being physically active. Her future plans are to go to college. Next up, Reggie Benson.
A tenth grader at Thorp, the Boyd resident is the daughter of Brad and Chris Benson, Reggie has four siblings: Brett, Isabella, Ryan and Brantley. For activities, Reggie is involved in Future Farmers of America (FFA), Volleyball, and Softball.
As to community activities, Reggie is involved in her church’s youth group along with Boyd Little League. For hobbies and interests, Reggie enjoys being outside planting flowers, demo derby, races, and being with her family. Reggie’s future plans are to go to Iowa State to get a physical therapy degree. Third in the list of those seeking to be the next Miss Boyd is Kwinn Seichter.
A tenth grader at Stanley-Boyd High School, Kwinn is the daughter of Jamie and Hannah Seichter. In addition to this, she has four siblings: Darnell, Austin, Damien and Eli. AS to school activities, Kwinn is involved in Art Club, Golf, and the local chapter of the FFA.
For community activities, meanwhile, Kwinn is involved in painting, singing, dancing, drawing and photography. Her future plans include a desire to own her own photography business.
