The Stanley-Boyd Drama Club will soon be offering a new drama presentation on the gym stage at Stanley-Boyd High School.
Making its debut Wednesday Oct. 12 at 7 p.m., the play ‘Miss Nelson is missing!’ tells the story of a sweet teacher who no one listens to until they get a lesson in contrasts from a substitute.
“‘Miss Nelson is Missing!’ is based on the popular children’s book,” Steinmetz said. “There is a class of disruptive children who are mean to their very nice teachers. When Miss Nelson all of a sudden goes missing, she is replaced by the nasty Mrs. Viola Swamp. The students realize that they should have been nicer to Miss Nelson and go on a mission to find her.”
Coming soon to the Stanley-Boyd High School Gym on Wednesday, Oct. 12 at 7 pm as well as Saturday, October 15th at 7 pm, and Sunday, October 16th at 1:30 pm, the cost of admission is just $5, making the story of Miss Nelson’s disappearance and return is one you won’t want to miss.
