The Miss Stanley Royalty Program-supported by the Stanley Area Chamber of Commerce– is excited to begin the search for the next group of young leaders who will represent the Stanley community in the coming year. The program is currently welcoming candidates who would like to participate in the upcoming royalty selection.
Young women who live within or attend the Stanley-Boyd School District are invited to take part in this community tradition. The program offers three age divisions: Miss Stanley (ages 16–18), Jr. Miss Stanley (ages 11–15), and Little Miss Stanley (ages 6–10).
Participants will have the opportunity to compete for several titles including Miss Stanley, 1st Princess, 2nd Princess, Jr. Miss Stanley, Jr. Princess, Jr. Princess, and Little Miss Stanley, along with two Little Princesses. The program focuses on building confidence, encouraging community involvement, and giving young participants the chance to represent Stanley at local events throughout the year.
Those interested in learning more are invited to attend the Spring Kick-Off Meeting on Wednesday, April 29 at 5:30 p.m. at Martino’s Restaurant. During this meeting, program coordinators will review the rules, expectations, and details for the upcoming year.
Any girls interested in participating are encouraged to attend the meeting with a parent or guardian. This is a great opportunity to ask questions, meet the coordinators, and learn more about what it means to represent the Stanley community through the Miss Stanley Royalty Program.
Mark your calendars for the Miss Stanley Pageant that will take place at the Stanley Movie Theater on Thursday June 18th doors open at 6 p.m.–the pageant is open to the community to attend and support a great group of candidates and continue the tradition of celebrating the young leaders of Stanley.
