Come on out to the Music in the Soo End of summer bash!
Taking place Saturday, Sept. 12 and beginning at 4 p.m., the Music in the Sao end of Summer Bash is sponsored by the Stanley Area Chamber of Commerce.
Started this summer with three well attended events, Music in the Soo will feature classic cars, food, live music and a movie in the park, the fun starting at 4 p.m. and continuing on into the evening.
The festivities will kick off at 4 p.m. with a Classic Car Cruise. Participants will meet at Soo Line Park before heading out for the cruise.
Food and beverage concessions will open at 5 p.m. and will be available during the evening. Beer will also be available for those age 21 and older.
Live entertainment will begin at 5 p.m., with Whiskey & Topaz scheduled to perform until 8 p.m.
Following the live music, the event will transition to a family movie night. Pixar’s “Cars” will be shown in the park beginning at 8:30 p.m.
Organizers are encouraging those attending to bring lawn chairs and spend the evening downtown with friends and family.
The event is presented by the Stanley Area Chamber of Commerce and the City of Stanley.
