Her siblings: Beverly (Jack) Mattingly of Chippewa Falls, Judith (Ronald) Romanowski of Gilman, Donna Campbell of Chilton, Bernard Geist of Holcombe, Deborah (Roderick) Porath of Loyal, Mary (Damis) Morgal of Cadott, Dale (Marie) Geist of Whitefish, MT, Vernon Bonnie (Geist) of Countryside, IL, Mark (Sherry) Geist of Stanley, Ricky Geist of Holcombe, Kathleen Dunlevy of Halfway, MO, and Jacquelyn (Daniel) Glander of Luxembourg. Two grandchildren and four step-grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Timothy, sister Barbara, stepson Ronald, brother-in-law Basil Tucker and very special friend Russell Dillon.
Nancy Leona Brocar, 75, of Des Plains, IL passed away on September 15, 2021 surrounded by her family. Funeral services were held on September 22 at Grove Memorial Chapel, Elk Grove Village, IL.
Nancy was born December 2, 1945 to Raymond and Amelia (Wundrow) Geist of Stanley. She was married to James Brocar on April 20, 1968. They later divorced.
She worked as a CNA at Northwest Community Hospital in Arlington Heights, IL until her retirement. She blessed her family and friends with her beautiful crocheted crafts. Nancy made everything—afghans, slippers, washcloths, hot pads, toys, and even antler hats for dogs. She was always looking for a new pattern. She enjoyed dancing and visiting with her family and friends gave her so much pleasure.
Nancy is lovingly survived by her son Donald of Chicago, IL and her daughter Valerie of Hanover Park, IL. She
