The Galesville Public Library was one of 38 libraries to be awarded grants that will be used to purchase books and films on Japan, China, Korea, Taiwan, and Hong Kong and also to host book clubs, speakers, and other related library programs.

Buffalo County will be cost sharing with towns for 11 culvert projects. The county and towns cost share equally for culvert replacements.
