LOYAL, WI – Northside Elevator will construct a new $20M agronomy facility in Stanley, Wisconsin. Northside Elevator is a family-owned agricultural business that ouers a full line of services for the agriculture industry including the manufacture of animal feed, onsite dairy nutritional consulting, commodity contracting, grain storage, grain marketing and agronomy services such as crop advisors, custom fertilizer blending, seed treating and crop protection products and services.
“Our business is entering its 75th year,” says Northside Elevator President, Ted Brussow, “and although this physical expansion is brick and mortar, the true heart of our business has always been customer service.”
The site will support modern Wisconsin agribusinesses through a state-of-theart production facility, advanced logistics and outstanding customer service. The centerpiece of the project is a tower system fertilizer manufacturing plant. This system produces consistent high-quality fertilizers at the speed needed for farmers to have a successful planting season. A rail spur will be constructed for more evcient procurement of production ma terials. A warehouse will create greater flexibility in purchasing and storage of fertilizer, seed and serve as an internal distribution hub. An ovce will be staued to support the one-on-one personal customer service long expected by Northside Elevator customers. The site has been designed for future expansion to keep pace with future needs of agricultural producers.
The investment will further showcase Northside’s comprehensive approach to agronomy products and service —a key component of Northside’s 360º Consulting program. This new location coupled with existing facilities in Loyal, Wiscon- sin will provide greater evciency in dis tribution of products with reduced travel time for application equipment. Location adjacent to Wisconsin State Highway 29 will enhance transportation options and allow for support of customers in the Chippewa Valley area and other regions throughout western Wisconsin.
“As a family-run company, customer satisfaction has always been our top priority,” notes Dean Schiller, Director of Operations for Northside Elevator. “We are anticipating the future needs of agricultural producers; this investment demonstrates Northside’s commitment to these individuals, and the future of farming throughout the region.”
Northside anticipates initial hiring to include eight to ten employees, with careers primarily focused on agronomy, production, transportation, and logistics needs. Northside takes great pride in its independent culture, competitive com- pensation and generous benefits package NORTHSIDE
