The Stanley-Boyd food pantry was the recent recipient of a $500 check from Northwestern Bank. The donation is a result of candy bar sales held throughout Northwestern Bank branches, including the Boyd branch, from October, November and December. Employees at each branch choose a local non-profit to receive the donation each quarter. Shown above is Kris Bremness of the Boyd branch presenting the check to Donna Olkowski, Director of the Stanley-Boyd food pantry. The pantry, located in the basement of Our Saviour’s Lutheran Church, located at 147 E 4th Ave in Stanley, is open to the public on the first Thursday of the month from 4 p.m. - 6 p.m. Home delivery is also available for those not able to travel to the church. If interested in donating, or have questions regarding a home delivery, you may contact the church at 715-644-3665, or Donna at 715-644-0644.
