Eugene Felix

1948 – 2021

Eugene Ambrose Felix was born in Stanley, Wisconsin, he grew up on the family dairy farm and took it over at a young age. He worked tirelessly on the farm managing the cows and land. He put in various expansions on the farm throughout the years and took much pride in the farm. He won various awards throughout the years with producing high quality milk.

Eugene married Linda Felix and had two daughters, Angela and Julie. They sold the farm in 2009 and moved to Surprise, Arizona for retirement. He loved the mild winters and living in a large city. His daughters both moved to Arizona and enjoyed being close to the family. He and Linda loved planning international trips and all of the details involved. Some of his favorite countries he visited were Cuba, South America (especially Rio in Brazil), and Europe (especially Rome, Italy). He was always up to date on current events and read his Wall Street Journal daily.

He was diagnosed with brain cancer in 2014 which had a very grim prognosis of about 1.5 years. He was blessed to have some of the world’s best doctors care for him during this time in Arizona. He fought hard during these years and continued to live as normal with traveling and working at Walmart in the produce section. He was blessed to have met and watched his 3 grandchildren grow, they are now 6, 5, 3 years old.

He enjoyed and had great pride being a part of the lives of his daughters, Angela, who now works as a physician and Julie who works in education. Eugene will be greatly missed by many especially his family for his dry sense of humor and kind heart.

He is survived by his wife Linda of 41 years, daughters Angela and Julie and their families.
