The'event'with'many'makes'and'models'of'car'present-no' DMC'Deloreans'seen-saw'teams'of'draft'horses'strive'against' the'weight'of'a'sleigh'with'concrete'blocks'in'it,'each'block'placed' by'a'tractor.'Once'the'horses'heard'the''clink''that'signified'the' harness'hook'was'in'the'sleigh'ring'it'was'off!

Some'teams'got'overeager'and'pulled'before'a'full'connection' was'made,'but'were'brought'back'to'the'starting'line'and'made' for'a'second'try.

With a lane 16 feet wide marked by rope, teams had to stay

within' bounds' as' they' pulled' the' sleigh' with' concrete' blocks' back'and'forth'across'the'disc'golf'course'across'the'road'from' Chapman'Park,'with'teams'pulling'either'way'as'the'sleigh'was' situated,'rather'than'a'single'starting'point'at'one'end.

Among'those'on'hand'to'do'the'heavy'lifting'and/or'driving' were'several'teams,'including'(for'horses)'two'that'were'named' "Chief'& 'Petey."
