Chippewa County will begin operation of the aerators on Otter Lake on or after Monday, January 2nd and continue through the remainder of the winter. The aerators are located in two locations on the lake. One system is near the county park day-use area at the north end of the lake. A second system is located in the south end of the lake, northwest of the south boat landing. Individuals involved in ice fishing, snowmobiling and/or other activities should be cautious in the areas in immediate proximity to the aerators. Open water and/or thin ice will exist in the immediate area. The open water will be barricaded with rope and fence posts.
