With winter sports done and spring sports now in play, Orioles Head Coach Ryan Sturm shared thoughts on the upcoming baseball season.
“We have 32 players who are planning on playing,” he said. “Great numbers. All of our top pitchers returning this year. Pitching should be our strength. Alex Williams, Dawson Ewer should be two of the top players in the conference this year. We are returning four starters from last years’ team. We need a catcher and Center fielder to step up this year. We have a really strong group of freshmen coming out this year. Great group of kids - will really enjoy coaching them this year.”
The Orioles play Osseo-Fairchild Thursday, April 3 at Osseo-Fairchild High School Merchant Park. Game start is 5:00 p.m.
