Fresh off their scrimmage at Black River Falls, the Oriole varsity spiders took to the court in an invitational at Medford Tuesday, August 27. Volleyball Head Coach Karley Wiensch shared thoughts after the tournament.
“It was a great tournament! The girls played exceptionally well together. It was a great start of the season!” She said.

Heading to UW-Stout Friday August 30 into Saturday August 31, the Orioles battled it out with three sets each for Oshkosh West, Osceola, and Spooner, two sets each against Hudson, Cochrane-Fountain City, Menominie and Superior. Coach Wiensch shared her thoughts on results at Stout.
“The weekend went well,” she said. “We had a very tough pool with two Division 1 teams in it. The girls put up fits against Oshkosh West and Hudson on Friday. We had a little bit of a slow start on Saturday morning, but ended the tournament with two wins. Overall, it was a good start to the season and we faced really great competition, which will help us later in the season. A lot of great things this weekend!”
