The regular season is over, the playoffs are here.
Meeting Owen-Withee in the Stanley-Boyd High School Gymnasium Oct. 14, the Oriole varsity spikers came away victorious, defeating the Blackhawks 3-0 to claim third in conference.
Set scores for the Tuesday night match were 25-7, 25-15, and 25-15.
Orioles Head Coach Karley Wiensch shared thoughts after the results.
“We have Tuesday off due to receiving the 1 seed for our playoff section. We will either play Tomahawk or Marathon, they play on Tuesday. We are practicing for both teams this week, once one of those teams wins we will gear our practices for that specific team that won. We are working hard at practice. It is “Go Time!”
The Orioles next play Thursday, Oct. 23 at home. Match start is 7:00 p.m.
