Playing at home Tuesday, Sept. 10, the Oriole varsity spiders defeated Elk Mound 3-0 in match play.
“The team played very well together and worked as a team to come out with a win in 3 sets,” Head Coach Karley Wiensch said of Tuesday’s result.
Coming away with the win, the Orioles scored set scores of 25-22, 25-22, 25-13 against Elk Mound.
Heading to Merrill on Saturday results were mixed.
“There was some good competition at this tournament,” Wiensch said. “We had good moments throughout the day. We went 1-3.”
