The team showed a lot of grit this week with 3 days of wrestling. We have made a ton of progress as a team compared to where we were in December and our dual results show that.”

“We went 4-2 this week in duals taking 4th place as a team at the Somerset Dual Tournament,” he said. “The team showed a lot of grit this week with 3 days of wrestling. We have made a ton of progress as a team compared to where we were in December and our dual results show that. Even in the matches we are losing our guys are battling and scoring points. They should be proud of their hard work and improvement. Going undefeated for the team this week in 6 duals were Caiden Paul, Dylan Seicther, and Willy Graham. Candin Yeager, Brody Westrom, and Dredyn Arneson all went 5-1 in duals. Julian Ruiz and Hunter Gadke went 4-2 in the duals. Kyle Pahl and Ryan Bowe took 1st place at the Menomonie JV tournament. Nevaeh Walters took 1st at Somerset and Lillian FItzl took 2nd. At Menomonie for the girls we had Nevaeh Walters take 2nd and Sierra Marten take 3rd.”

As for looking forward, Coach Fitzsimmons said that, “We have our conference tournament on Saturday in Spencer and then regionals the following weekend.”
