Orioles Head Coach Greg Burzynski had the following to say on Trevino and Graham after the results were in.
“Troy made his second consecutive final appearance and fell just short,” Burzynski said. “He is coming around the second half of the season and ready to make a run into the post-season.”
As to Graham, Burzynski said that, “Willy wrestled well and secured his first high school tournament championship. Unfortunately, his opponent in the finals medical forfeited to him but he looked good in the earlier matches.”
The Orioles next compete in a varsity wrestling triangular at Stanley-Boyd High School on Thursday, Jan. 25. Matches start at 4:30 p.m.
