The Oriole girls varsity traveled to Bloomer Feb. 14, the final game score of 63-31 coming out in Bloomer’s favor. Orioles Head Coach Ryan Wundrow shared his thoughts on the night overall after the score was in.
“I thought we played really well in the first half,” he said. “I thought we took some really good shots and played some good offense and defense. I thought we took better shots than Bloomer did, we just didn’t get them to fall. Syleen Seichter may have played her best game of the year. She had 10 points and nine rebounds. Kendall Sikora also had 10 points to go with five rebounds. Our energy was better and had fewer turnovers. We have improved but will have a very competitive game vs Loyal. We hope to finish our season on some high notes with wins in the crossover and the tournament game on next Tuesday vs Viroqua at home.”
The Orioles play Loyal at Loyal for the crossover game Friday, Feb. 20. Game start is 7:15 p.m.
