Orioles Happy Hoops, a 4-day basketball program designed for children in 1st through 3rd grade, wrapped up on February 15th. Held each Saturday from January 24th to February 15th, the program provided a fantastic opportunity for young athletes to learn basketball fundamentals while fostering a love for the game. Now in its 4th year, Happy Hoops was organized by Becky and Jason Isenberger, with invaluable support from Stanley-Boyd Girls Head Basketball Coach Ryan Wundrow, Stanley-Boyd Athletic Director Nate Steinmetz, and members of the Orioles Girls and Boys Basketball teams. This dedicated team helped students develop their skills in a positive and supportive environment while creating an enjoyable experience that ensured the young athletes left excited to continue playing the sport.
