A fishing contest to benefit Otter Lake and sponsored by the Stanley Sportsman’s Club will be held on Saturday, June 13 from 7 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Otter Lake.
A total of $900 in cash fish prizes will be awarded at the event. Entrants must be present to win. The weigh-in will take space at the large pavilion.
In addition, there will be $3,000 in cash prizes and other prize drawings awarded. The grand prize will be $1,000. Winners of the cash prizes need not be present to win. Lunch and refreshments will be served from 11 a.m to 12:30 p.m. Tickets for the contest are $10 for one or three for $20, and are available at Oemig’s Sport Shop, the Otter Lake Bait and Camp Store as well as numerous other business outlets.
Tickets will also be available at the event. All proceeds go to improvements of Otter Lake.
