Department of Natural Resources Fish Biologist, Joe Gerbyshak and yours truly, spent time last week replacing a sign at Otter Lakes south boat landing. The sign recognizes a fishing pier donated by the Stanley Sportsman’s Club in memory of Mike Abrahamson.
For no apparent reason, other than an act of vandalism, the sign disappeared a few years ago. Abrahamson, who was an active member and Director of the Sportsman’s club, tragically lost his life in a deer motorcycle collision on County Highway G, south of Boyd a few years ago.
