On Saturday, December 9, 2023, ladies and men of All Saints Parish met in the St Joseph School basement to put together 100 Cheer Baskets with goodies donated from parishioners. There were lots of cookies, various sweet treats, candies, candy canes, fruit and other delicious items for each basket. Each basket was finished off with beautiful ribbon and a Christmas card addressed to the recipient. The baskets will be delivered to the homebound in Stanley, Boyd and Cadott, Country Terrace in Stanley, The Homeplace Asst Living in Stanley, Oakbrook Nursing Home in Thorp, Chippewa Manor, VitaCare, the Veterans Home and Wissota Springs in Chippewa Falls, as well as Dove Healthcare and Care Partners in Eau Claire. Along with the cheer baskets, each lucky recipient will receive an ornament made by the children at a craft event held by the parish recently. This is an annual event sponsored by All Saints Parish to remember and celebrate those folks who are part of the parish but may not be able to attend events.
