The Wisconsin partisan primary arrives Tuesday, Aug. 11 to the Stanley-Boyd area. With numerous offices on the primary ballot including county, state, and federal posts, primary voters will have the change to mark a party preference on the ballot and then decide from among the candidates of that same party who best to represent them in the November general election. Winners from the Aug. 11 primary will advance to the November general election.
Not all primary races have multiple candidates in one party. Those in races which do have more than one have been invited to fill out a primary ballot questionnaire to better inform voters on just who they are and why they deserve the opportunity to represent their party in November.
Early in-person voting for the primary starts Tuesday, July 29. Check back next week for a full rundown of offices and candidate questionnaires for contested primary races.
