1950-2020
Patti Ann Savina, 70, of Altus, OK, passed away there at Jackson County Hospital on Monday, Sept. 21, 2020.
She was born April 1, 1950 in Stanley, daughter to the late Charles and Marie (Mahal) Dusick. She grew up on the family farm northeast of Boyd and attended Stanley- Boyd Schools. Patti married Bill Savina on June 20, 1970 in Stanley. They had a daughter, Denise of Stanley, and moved to Maple Grove, MN and had a son, Brian. Patti worked at the Covenant Manor of Golden Valley, MN as a housekeeper. Divorced in 1990, she moved back to Stanley, where she worked at LaGrander’s Cheese Factory, Lussden Candy of Boyd and bartended at the Curve Inn and Maple Hill Taverns.
She is survived by her son Brian and grandson Jace of Stanley, granddaughter Lakyn Wiese and great-granddaughter Cecelia Scho_eld, brother Thomas
(Cindy Maier) Dusick, all of Cornell, WI and many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
She was preceded in death by her daughter Denise in 2010, father Charles in 2014, Mother Marie in 1995, brothers Charles Jr. in 1970, Richard in 2011 and Daniel in 2016, and sister Sharon in 1998, as well as special companions Bill Brewster in 2002 and Jim Greene in 2008.
Inurnment was on Sept. 12, 2020 at St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Boyd.
A Celebration of Life will take place at the Curve Inn Bar of Stanley in the spring of 2021.
