Peggy Lee Dalberto, passed away peacefully surrounded by her beloved husband and children at Aspirus Hospital in Wausau, WI on February 18, 2022 from an autoimmune disorder at the age of 68.
Peggy lived in Stanley, WI with her husband Barry Dalber- to. Peggy was born on April 25, 1953 in Antigo, Wisconsin to Pe-
ter & Rosella Jagla. She grew up in White Lake and Fon Du Lac Wisconsin.
Peggy is survived by her husband Barry, her daughters Amanda Jagla-Nimz (Jeremy), Brandy Werner, and her grandchildren Anna-Rose, Andrew and Alina (Nimz), as well as her brothers Rick and Ron Jagla.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents Rosella & Peter Jagla, and her sisters Jan Gress & Lorna Martin.
Peggy will be remembered for her sense of humor, artistic spirit and the fierce way she loved her family & friends. She was an avid gardener with a green thumb that could coax any flower to bloom. She led a life of many artistic pursuits and business including: stained glass, blown glass, ceramic sculpture, ceramic garden art, wheel thrown pottery, quilting, wool appliqué, and hand dying wool. She cherished her family and sitting in her lovely yard. She worked at her local library for four years and enjoyed the companionship of fellow book lovers and organizing the summer reading program to inspire the next generation of avid readers. Her love, loyalty, work ethic, and devotion to others will never be forgotten. Her loving family worked together to make her last days special no matter the cost in time doing a constant labor of love and compassion for her, just as she practiced faithfully, lovingly for her husband, Barry, daughters, Amanda, Brandy, son in law, Jeremy and for her cherished grandchildren: Anna, Andrew and Alina. Peg was a loving, wife, mother and grandmother, who we all depended on for so much. Now we truly realize what a profound effect and loving influence Peg exerted to praise, exhort and caution us while denying herself. We will now have to carry on our lives as she taught us. In accordance with her wishes there will be no memorial service. Her firm belief was that life lived well and with a generous heart left a positive memorial in the hearts and minds of all those you loved.
In lieu of flowers please consider making a donation in her name to your local humane society as Peggy loved cats. She wished to see all cats find a warm, loving home.
