May 12 7:50 a.m. Traffic stop made with a young man warned for a moving violation.

11:43 a.m.

A person reported ongoing issues with a neighbors dog coming on their property. Report to follow.

11:58 a.m. A large piece of debris was removed from westbound highway 29 at Copenhaver Avenue.

12:11 p.m. Assistance was provided to a motorist who had struck a piece of debris on the roadway, causing a tire on her vehicle to blowout.

1:14 p.m. A stray dog was located in the 200 block of East Fourth Avenue. Owner was located, reclamation fee was posted, and the dog was returned.

4:44 p.m. An officer was requested for a domestic between a mother and her son that was no longer in progress.

May 13 7:55 a.m. Stanley Police were requested for an out of control young person at the Grant Street Apartments.

8:45 a.m. Assistance was provided to the Clark County Sheriff ’s Department with the apprehension of a man who had multiple outstanding warrants. The man was taken into custody while at Aspirus Stanley Hospital without incident and transported to the Clark County Jail by Clark County Sheriff ’s Department personnel.

8:48 a.m. Stanley Police were requested for a hit and run accident. Report taken.

9:12 a.m. Call logged under ‘public relation.’ 11:29 a.m. Stanley Police were requested for a barking dog complaint. The owner of the dogs was warned and advised future violations would result in citations being issued.

6:06 p.m. Stanley Police were requested for a child custody dispute at the Boyd Cenex. Officer spoke to reporting party and determined there was no need for an officer to respond. Report to follow.

6:19 p.m. Stanley Police were requested for an animal bite involving two dogs in the 200 block of East Sixth Avenue. Dispatch advised the dogs were separated and involved parties were awaiting officer’s response. Chippewa County quarantine orders filed. Report to follow.

8:04 p.m. Stanley Police were requested to the 900 block of Emery Street for a theft complaint. Report to follow.
