10:50 a.m.

Call received for 911 investigate. Upon arrival no one was home. Contact was later made by phone with the woman residing at the address. Report to follow.

3:18 p.m.

A complaint was received that involved a young person. Report to follow.

6:27 p.m.

Stanley Police were called to the 100 block of West Ninth Avenue for a Blue Silverado and car trailer that was unable to turn around. Assistance was provided and the vehicle was sent on its way.

8:25 p.m.

Stanley Police were called to the 100 block of West Ninth Avenue for a complaint of a man driving erratically in the parking lot. Contact was made and the man was warned.

December 1

8:43 a.m.

Stanley Police were requested for an ATV/UTV complaint occurring near Chapman Park. Contact was made with a man and Joshua Vickers, age 40, was cited for violation of the City of Stanley ATV/UTV laws.

December 3

9:44 a.m.

Stanley police were requested in the 200 block of East Second Avenue for a report of report of cats being allowed to run loose. The owner was warned.

3:12 p.m.

Assistance was provided as needed with an EMS call for an elderly man who was having difficulty breathing.

8:58 p.m. Traffic stop made for apparent equipment violation. Vehicle operator was cited for operating a motor vehicle on a permit without an instructor or person 21 or older in the vehicle.

9:20 p.m.

Complaint received regarding a purchase made on Craigslist which the complainant believed could have been a scam. Complainant later contacted the fraud department at his bank and did not need further assistance from the Stanley Police Department at the time.

December 4

11:46 a.m.

A vehicle lockout assist was conducted in the 100 block of West Fourth Avenue.

2:20 p.m.

Report of a violation of a court order was made. Tara Marten, age 37, was referred to the Clark County District Attorney’s Of- fice for charges.

11:41 p.m. A traffic stop was made for expired registration. Vehicle oper ator was instructed to get the registration renewed by December 8th or he would be ticketed.

11:55 p.m. Audible alarm coming from a unit at Sunset Homes. Contact was made with a woman who advised that her cat must have pulled the draw string alarm located in the bathroom. Alarm was reset by residents and no emergency was reported.
