October 7 9:21 p.m.

Stanley Police requested to make contact at a residence regarding a matter involving a young person. October 8 10:35 a.m.

Assistance provided as requested in the City of Thorp regarding a group home resident who was out of control, causing extensive damage within the home.

3:41 p.m.

Cash bond posted by Daniel Luzinski for an active warrant, with Luzinski released from custody once bond and documentation was received.

8:03 p.m.

Stanley Police were called to McDonald’s for a semi-truck driver attempting to walk through the drive thru, due to the lobby being closed. Assistance was provided to the truck driver. 9:31 p.m.

Stanley Police conducted a vehicle lockout service in the 600 block of Gilman Street.

10:11 p.m.

Stanley Police to assist Stanley Fire at Kelly Grill. Assistance was provided until no longer needed. October 9 4:35 p.m.

Vehicle lockout conducted successfully and without incident from an unspecified location.

October 10 12:59 a.m.

Stanley Police were requested to assist the Clark County Sheriff’s Office with a domestic incident in the City of Thorp. Assistance was provided until no longer needed.

3:47 p.m.

Officer was dispatched to the 600 block of Emery Street for a group home walkaway.

October 11 8:50 p.m.

Police requested for a domestic disturbance in the 100 block of East Murray Street. Shelby Tyler, age 29, and Kenton Anderson, age 32, of Stanley were both cited for disorderly conduct.

October 12 8:02 a.m.

Stanley Police were advised of a vehicle in the ditch of County Trunk O and County Trunk G. Chippewa County was advised and requested the area be checked. Area was checked and nothing was located.

10:00 a.m.

Information provided regarding a truancy issue with a twelve-year-old student of the Stanley- Boyd School District.

2:56 p.m.

Stanley Police were requested for a theft from a Stanley business. Incident is under investigation.

6:20 p.m.

Police requested for a criminal damage complaint.

7:56 p.m.

Police requested for a domestic disturbance. Kayla Nitz, age 25, and Keith Soward, age 31, of Stanley were both cited for disorderly conduct as a result of the call.

October 13 Traffic stop for a moving violation. Verbal warning given.

3:14 p.m.

Dog at large complaint. Dog was turned over to the police department and transported to the pd kennel until contact was made with the owner. Contact was made and both owners were advised of the $20 kennel charge. Dog was later picked up by owner.

5:06 p.m.

Caller spoke of an undesirable person who was instructed to leave the caller’s residence. Report to follow.

8:24 p.m.

Stanley Police were called to a north side Stanley residence for a possible mental health issue at a group home.

October 14 11:37 a.m.

Clark County requested assistance with a dis- turbance in the City of Thorp. Upon arrival offi cer spoke to two people and waited for deputies to respond. Officer stood by until no longer need ed.

11:55 a.m.

Stanley Police were called to assist the Chip- pewa County Sheriff’s Office with a warrant check on Tenth Avenue. No contact was made with the person in question.

12:21 p.m.

School staff requested assistance with an on-going school investigation. Officer provided assistance until no longer needed.

10:47 p.m.

Stanley Police were called to the 200 block of Lincoln Street to assist Stanley Fire with a call of smoke in an attic. Assistance was provided until no longer needed.

October 15 12:00 a.m.

Stanley Police were requested for a theft from a Stanley business. Business reported the theft of a 100-pound propane tank. Incident under investigation.
