September 21 4:57 a.m.

Report received of a domestic altercation in progress in the 200 block of Washington Street. As a result of the subsequent contact, Justin M. Cleveland, age 27, was taken into custody for domestic disorderly conduct. Report to follow. 8:50 a.m.

Report received of a bond violation that had occurred in the City of Stanley that was reported to an outside agency after the fact.

11:10 a.m.

Report received of a gas skip from the Stanley Travel Stop. 11:19 a.m.

Report received from the Stanley-Boyd School District involving a bus passing violation that occurred in the City of Stanley. Raymond Malinowski, age 51, was cited for illegally passing a school bus. Report to follow.

12:13 p.m.

Request for a personal welfare check on someone the caller had been unable to reach via telephone.

4:53 p.m.

Traffic stop made for expired registration. William Shilts, age 69, received a citation and a correction warning for violations. Report to follow.

6:22 p.m.

Stanley Police were requested to assist the Chippewa County Jail with a release notification. Notification was made. 7:49 p.m.

Stanley Police responded to a traffic complaint on Highway 29 eastbound from mile marker 91. Vehicle involved was not located.

8:50 p.m.

Stanley Police responded to a personal welfare check request. Contact was made with the residence and the Chippewa County Department of Human Services was contacted.

September 22 2:03 a.m.

Assistance provided to the Chippewa County Sheriff's Department with a domestic incident in progress from the 100 block of West 8th Avenue. Report to follow.

11:02 a.m.

FedEx van stopped for moving violation. Operator warned for speed.

4:31 p.m.

Stanley Police were requested for an activated alarm at a Stanley business. The Stanley Police Department responded and determined it was a false alarm.

8:07 p.m.

Police requested for a traffic complaint on State Highway

29.

9:47 p.m.

Stanley K9 Officer Trey and handler requested to assist the Clark County Sheriff's Office.

September 23 12:01 p.m.

Stanley Police requested for a civil standby while property was removed from a residence of unspecified address. Removal of property was completed without incident.

1:24 p.m.

Matter related to a young person being investigated at Stanley-Boyd Schools. Report to follow.

September 24 3:37 p.m.

Stanley Police took report of an animal nuisance on Highway 29 eastbound. Two minutes later, while en route, police took another report the animal had been hit was was partially in the roadway. Owners had been notified and animal was removed. 11:03 p.m.

Police conducted a traffic stop for expired registration. Vehicle operator Christopher Schuebel, age 31, was cited for operating while suspended and received warnings for additional violations.

September 25 6:51 p.m.

Requested to assist the Thorp Police Department with a traffic stop but upon arrival officer was no longer needed.

7:56 p.m.

Caller in the 400 block of Grant Street wishing to report someone entering his apartment and pouring motor oil down his drains and breaking his refrigerator door. Report to follow. September 26 2:53 a.m.

OWI Hit and Run arrest. Michelle Alcala arrested for OWI 3rd offense.

5:22 p.m.

EMS call. Officer assisted Stanley First Responders until no longer needed.

September 27 5:21 a.m.

Unwanted person in residence in the 200 block of Lincoln Street. Person left prior to law enforcement arrival.

Stanley Police observed a vehicle traveling faster than the posted speed limit. Vehicle was stopped and driver Ashley Love, age 27, was cited for a speeding violation.
