November 30 8:23 a.m. Report of a smaller gray car with a temp tag in the back window traveling at a high rate of speed. Area was checked and vehicle was not located. 9:54 a.m.

Complaint received regarding an ongoing noise (music) issue originating inside one of the Trophy Trailer business buildings.

4:31 p.m.

Staff at REM adult group home reported a resident in possession of suspected illegal drags.

December 1 8:28 a.m.

Stanley Police Department received a report from a woman stating that she was aware of a current fraud that was occurring.

1:25 p.m.

Officer requested to assist DHS on a house-call regarding a pregnant women actively using Methamphetamine.

3:26 p.m.

Report received of an altercation in progress in the 100 block of South Broadway Street across from Kwik Trip.

4:00 p.m.

Walk-in report of an incident that had occurred within a residence while someone was attempting to escort an unwanted visitor from the property.

11:43 p.m.

A woman in the 3700 block of County Highway G reported criminal damage to her vehicle while it had been parked overnight. Photos taken and added to the case.

2:00 p.m.

Injured deer reported on caller’s property. No address specified.

4:25 p.m.

A men’s Murray bicycle was reported to have been abandoned at the Homeplace of Stanley a few days previous, being transported to the police department for safekeeping.

December 3 12:12 a.m.

Police requested for a noise complaint at the Grant Street Apartments. Report taken. 9:11 a.m.

Police were requested to respond to the Stanley-Boyd Schools for an out of control young person. Prior to arrival officer was advised to disregard.

5:22 pm.

Stanley Police received complaint of Christmas lights that had been damaged at a residence in the City of Stanley. Incident under investigation.

7:07 p.m.

Police requested for a car vs. deer accident. Report taken.

10:45 p.m.

Stanley K9 Officer Trey requested to assist the Thorp Police Department. Report taken. December 4 3:21 a.m.

K9 Officer Trey requested to assist the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office.

11:03 a.m.

Officer received a complaint of a dog at large. Officer responded and the dog was already picked up by the owner per the complaint. 3:35 p.m.

Vehicle reported to be dragging a chain from the back of their trailer on Highway 29 westbound. Area checked and no vehicle located. 4:27 p.m. Check building call received from an Eau Claire number. Stanley Police walked around the building and all the doors were secured. No signs of entry. 4:32 p.m.

Officer received a complaint of a suspicious man in an “older red jeep.” Officer responded and checked the area, no vehicle located. Officer did speak with complainant.

5:16 p.m.

Officer received a complaint of a dog that was located by the movie theater. Officer called complainant and was advised the owner had picked the dog up before officer arrived.

11:03 p.m.

Officer called to investigate a 911 open line call. The call plotted in the 500 block of County Highway O. The area was checked along with the residence nearby, with nothing and nobody located.

3:07 a.m.

Stanley Police were requested to assist Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office with a one-vehicle single occupant crash located on Highway 29 westbound, under the Highway D overpass. Assistance was provided until no longer needed. 7:05 a.m.

Report came in of a dog running at large in the area of East Eighth Avenue and Emery Street.

2:42 p.m.

A woman in the 200 block of South Franklin Street reported that a 21-year-old man was at the residence demanding money and making threats. Harassment call.

3:46 p.m.

Assistance provided to the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Department in regards to a young person threatening suicide. 3:11 p.m.

Police responded to Kwik Trip for a vehicle lockout. Lockout form completed by owner and vehicle opened without issue.

8:03 p.m.

Stanley Police called to east Stanley for a crisis intervention involving a young person. December 7 9:45 a.m.

Police requested to respond to an EMS call in the City of Stanley. Assistance given as requested.

11:31 a.m.

Requested for an erratic driver on Highway 29 eastbound, The vehicle was not observed.

2:14 p.m.

Stanley Police were requested for a harassment complaint. Caller stated that his previous employer kept filing complaints against him for different issues.

6:21 p.m.

Officer conducted a traffic stop. As a result Nathaniel Ziwisky, age 25, was cited for failure to stop at a stop sign.

11:19 p.m.

Stanley Police were requested to respond to Our Lady of Victory Hospital for a combative patient.

December 8 5:10 a.m.

Traffic complaint received from Clark County of a semi tanker truck traveling westbound on Highway 29. Tanker truck was reported to be deviating from lane to lane and crossing the fog line. Unable to locate vehicle.

10:20 a.m.

Stanley Police assisted the Clark County Sheriff’s Department with located a person involved in an altercation in Clark County.

12:13 p.m.

Requested to respond to an alarm at a Stanley business. Prior to arrival contact had been made and it was determined the business was testing the alarms.

1:48 p.m.

Stanley Police requested for paper service. Paper was served.

9:36 p.m.

Assistance provided as needed to Boyd Police on a traffic stop with an erratic driver on Highway 29 near 330th Street.

December 9 8:19 a.m.

Stanley Police observed a vehicle pulled over on the on-ramp to Highway 29 westbound. The driver stated he was pulled over to make a phone call, being notified he was not allowed to park on the on-ramp.

9:13 a.m.

Stanley Police requested for a traffic complaint on Highway 29 eastbound for an erratic driver in a black Ford Fusion. Officer believed the vehicle did not accurately represent the description form the complainant. The driver, Tyler Mayer, was warned for speeding.

12:40 p.m.

Stanley Police were requested for wood debris in the road at Highway 29 at mile marker 102 in the westbound lane. Officer successfully removed debris from the roadway.

2:48 p.m.

Stanley Police requested for a traffic complaint involving a yellow Penske van driving erratically on Highway 29 in the eastbound lanes. Officer was unable to locate the suspect vehicle.

4:12 p.m.

Stanley Police responded to Forward Bank on South Broadway Street, for an ATM-business alarm. No criminal activity was found to have taken place.

December 10 2:20 a.m.

Stanley Police were called to the 700 block of North Franklin Street for a 911 investigate. Contact was made at the residence where a woman advised that everything was fine and her young child must have been playing on the phone.

7:15 a.m.

Stanley Police were requested for a theft at True Value, report being taken.

9:07 a.m.

Stanley Police observed a vehicle (BMW SUV) pulled over with its hazard lights on along Pine Street and County Road NN. The driver stated everything was okay and he was pulled over to make a phone call.

5:34 p.m.

Assistance provided in the Village of Boyd with a suspicious person.
