STANLEY POLICE Reports

April 7 3:30 p.m. Stanley Police observed a vehicle traveling faster than the posted speed limit. Vehicle was stopped and the young operator was cited for speeding and operating without a license. Report to follow.

3:47 p.m. Report received from Stan- ley-Boyd Schools regarding a travc violation. Report to follow.

5:03 p.m. Stanley Police were requested for a 911 call. Complaint was cancelled prior to arrival.

8:54 p.m. Stanley Police were requested to assist Thorp Police in Thorp with a travc stop.

April 8 8:13 a.m.

Ovcer assisted Clark County with a vehicle in the ditch at the listed location with an unconscious occupant. Ovcer provided assistance until no longer needed.

April 9 1:28 p.m.

911 prefix open line. Chippewa County Sheriu's Ovce advised they could hear a child. Contact was made with a woman at the residence and she was advised of the complaint. She suspected her young child was playing with an older cell phone. No emergency was reported.

6:52 p.m. Stanley Police were called to Emery Street for a check person call. A group home employee on-site called stating a resident had walked away and was seeking mental health treatment. The resident was located and returned to the home. Northwest Connections was contacted and the resident was ouered a courtesy ride to Sacred Heart in Eau Claire for a self-commitment.

10:47 p.m. Stanley Police were called to the 500 block of South Broadway for a van parked by the dumpster. The operator of the van was the registered owner. He stated he was waiting for his kids to be picked up from a party.

April 10 11:02 a.m. Stanley Correctional reported a drug complaint.

April 11 1:00 p.m. The mother of an inmate at Stanley Correctional reported issues that her son was having with stau.

April 12 7:30 a.m. Report was received regarding a civil matter as it related to marital property within a home. 4:16 p.m.

Assistance with EMS transport was requested, being given as needed.

8:46 p.m. Police were requested for suspicious activity. April 13 1:50 p.m. Vehicle lockout. Lockout waiver form filled out and vehicle was un locked without incident. Owner re- quested ovcer to fill out for for them.

6:22 p.m. Stanley Police conducted a cour- tesy travc stop for a vehicle with a flat tire. The operator was advised of the condition of her tire, and her three children were ouered a ride to youth group at a local church. 11:17 p.m.

Stanley Police were called to assist the Chippewa County Sheriu's Ovce with a 911 investigate call located in the 9200 block of 370th Street. Assistance was provided until no longer needed.

April 14 2:55 p.m. Christopher Bollom, age 30, was cited for Operating without a License and No Insurance.

8:02 p.m. Stanley Police were called to assist Clark County in the 100 block of West Hill Street in Thorp. Dispatch later advised Stanley Police could discontinue.

8:36 p.m.

Stanley Police were called to assist the Clark County Sheriu's Ovce with a two-vehicle crash that had occurred on Highway 29 near Copenhaver Avenue. Assistance was provided. All occupants information was gathered along with vehicle information, to be passed on to Clark at a later time.

April 15 6:49 p.m. Police were requested for a personal welfare check.

April 16 12:25 a.m. Stanley Police were requested to assist the Chippewa County Sheriu's Ovce with a call in Boyd.

3:55 p.m. Stanley Police stopped a vehicle for a moving violation, with the result that operator Jason M. Meszaros, age 30, was cited for no proof of insurance.

4:20 p.m.

Stanley Police observed a vehicle traveling faster than the posted speed limit. Upon conducting a travc stop, operator Nhia Vang, age 33, was cited for a speeding violation.

6:17 p.m. Police were requested for a possible homeless man sleeping in front of a business.

6:22 p.m. Police were requested to Aspirus Stanley for reports of an animal bite.

April 17 9:50 a.m. Stanley Police were requested for a possible disturbance at a residence in the City of Stanley. Incident under investigation.

1:14 p.m. Stanley Police were requested for an EMS call. Ovcer responded and assisted as needed.

2:23 p.m. Stanley Police were requested to respond to the Village of Cadott to assist with a mental health incident. Ovcer responded and assisted as needed. 8:19 p.m.

Police were requested to respond to State Highway 29 for a travc com plaint.

April 18 12:17 p.m. Call received for a personal welfare check in relation to someone making statements of self harm. Phone ping indicated the person was no longer in Chippewa County, with the call being turned over to the City of Eau Claire Police Department after it was determined to involve someone from that area.

April 19 12:47 a.m. Police were called to assist fire units in the 600 block of Gilman Street for the odor of gas.

12:22 p.m. Ronda Adcock, age 45, was arrested for Domestic Disorderly Conduct and Battery (Simple). She was transported to the Chippewa County Jail where she was turned over to jail stau.

3:46 p.m. Test with dispatch. No further action taken.

3:48 p.m. Second test with dispatch. No further action taken. 8:00 p.m.

Stanley Police responded to a traf- fic complaint on Lincoln Street. The caller stated a black car with rear end damage was driving dangerously. The area was checked and the vehicle was not located.

11:08 p.m. Stanley Police were called to assist the Chippewa County Sheriu's Ovce with a travc complaint. Assistance was provided until no longer needed.

April 20 7:42 a.m. Stanley Police were requested to assist the Chippewa County Sheriu's Ovce with an accident on State High way 29 near County Highway G.

11:08 p.m. Stanley Police were requested to assist the Chippewa County Sheriu's Ovce with a debris in the roadway complaint on County Highway O near County Highway D.

April 21 8:02 p.m. Police were requested for a travc complaint on State Highway 29.

April 22 7:56 a.m.

A travc stop was conducted in the school zone for a moving violation. A young person was cited the violation.

8:06 a.m. Check person call at Chapman Campground. The person was identi- fied and advised that the campground was not ovcially open. Arrangements were made with the Clerk's Ovce.

2:26 p.m. A check person call was received regarding an elderly person who appeared to be sleeping in a vehicle. Contact was made with the man who stated that he was fine and explained that he was writing out something.

7:22 p.m. Stanley Police were made aware of a lock box that was located in Chapman Park that looked as if it were water logged and contained needles. The person who found the box was advised to safely dispose of the box and its contents.

April 23 12:27 a.m. Stanley Police were called to the 400 block of East First Avenue for a 911 hang up call. Contact was made with the caller, who advised that everything was ok. 3:47 a.m.

Stanley Police were called to the 600 block of South Broadway for a business alarm. Investigation showed it to be a false alarm. 7:43 a.m. Domestic disturbance, with report to follow. 10:47 a.m.

Report received of an individual stealing from behind a business. Report to follow.

9:29 p.m. Stanley Police were called to as- sist with a fire call in the 200 block of West Maple Street. Assistance was provided until no longer needed.

11:52 p.m. Stanley Police were requested to assist the Chippewa County Sheriu's Ovce with a personal welfare check in rural Stanley. Possible domestic call. Assistance was provided until no longer needed.
