STANLEY POLICE Reports
February 10 6:14 a.m. Call from the Grant Street Apart –
ments.
6:15 a.m.
Police were requested for an elementary- aged child walking alone.
4:00 p.m. Documents received from Stanley Correctional Institution regarding a complaint made by one employee against another.
5:23 p.m. Stanley Police were requested to make contact with someone in reference to a theft of items from his wife’s room at an assisted living facility. Incident under investigation.
9:46 p.m. Stanley Police were requested to respond to mile marker 103 for Highway 29 to assist the Clark County Sheriff's Officer with a single-vehicle rollover crash. Officers remained on scene and assisted until they were no longer needed.
February 11 7:58 a.m. Report received of a school bus pass violation, with 38-year-old Brandon Baker being cited for the reported incident.
8:08 a.m.
A traffic stop was conducted.
8:25 a.m.
EMS assist for a child who had in – gested a foreign substance. Officers stood by and provided assistance as needed.
3:33 p.m.
On-going issue of an out of control young person in the city, no address being given in the report.
4:05 p.m. A child custody issue was made known from the 100 block of East In- gersoll Street in Boyd.February 13 2:47 a.m. Assistance was requested in Thorp for an active altercation at a business.
7:12 a.m. Vehicle lockout reported. Waiver form was filled out and the vehicle unlocked without incident.
February 14 7:40 p.m.
Traffic stop conducted for an equipment violation. Driver warned.
February 15 2:43 a.m. Police requested for suspicious activity in the 200 block of Lincoln Street. 6:50 p.m.
Traffic stop conducted for a mov ing violation. Driver warned.
10:24 p.m. Police were requested for a miscellaneous complaint.
February 16 8:09 a.m.
Elizabeth Young, age 61, was cited for exceeding the posted speed limit in a school zone.
8:53 a.m. Officer assisted Clark County dep uty with a person at Ascension Hospital without incident.
2:47 p.m.
Officer assisted EMS with lift as sistance.
4:34 p.m. On-going child custody complaint received.
10:33 p.m. Officer was called to a business alarm located on South Broadway. It was a false alarm and a manager responded to reset it. February 17 1:02 p.m. A complaint involving a young person was logged from the Stan –
ley-Boyd High School.
February 18 7:43 a.m.
Stanley Police stopped a vehicle for a moving violation. As a result of the stop, Megan LaMarche, age 37, was cited for no proof of insurance.
2:04 p.m. Stanley Police were requested for a child custody matter. Incident documented.
6:32 p.m.
Police were requested for a vehicle in the ditch on State Highway 29.
7:39 p.m. Police were requested for a vehicle in the ditch on 29.
11:26 p.m.
Police were requested for a third vehicle in the ditch on State Highway 29.
February 19 9:37 p.m.
A traffic stop was conducted for an equipment violation. The driver was warned.
10:04 p.m. Another traffic stop was conducted for an equipment violation, and the driver was warned.
February 20 3:38 a.m. Police were requested for a noise complaint at the Grant Street Apart ments, with the result that Burnell Collins, age 38 , was cited.
8:07 a.m.
Stanley Police were requested for an EMS call. They responded and as sisted as needed.
11:41 a.m. Stanley Police were requested to collect a drug-related item from a residence when someone was moving out. Police responded and collected the item for processing.
