Stanley Police were requested for an EMS call. Officer responded but was no longer needed upon arrival.

9:16 a.m.

Police requested to respond to an alarm at a Stanley business by the alarm company. The alarm was determined to be false.

10:17 a.m.

Stanley Police observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed. The vehicle was stopped and operator Cody Hamm, age 21, was cited for the speeding violation.

12:10 p.m.

Officer requested to respond to State Highway 29 for a disabled vehicle. Officer responded and gave assistance as needed.

6:42 p.m.

Stanley Police were requested to assist the Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office with a call.

10:31 p.m.

Stanley Police assisted the Cadott Police Department with a traffic complaint on State Highway 29.

July 11 12:00 a.m.

Stanley Police observed a semi being operated on West Maple Street after passing a sign that indicated no trucks. The vehicle was stopped and the operator, Bill Reibel, age 43, was cited for failure to obey traffic sign.

12:48 a.m.

Stanley Officer Trey and handler requested to assist the Clark County Sheriff’s Office with a traffic stop.

3:57 p.m.

Stanley Police observed a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed.

The vehicle was stopped and the operator, Michelle Vallery, age 49, was cited for speeding.

7:02 p.m.

Police were requested for a business alarm.

7:38 p.m.

Police were requested for an ultra light plane flying over the prison parking lot. July 12 9:59 a.m.

Brindle colored Boxer running loose in town. Officer stopped at a residence and spoke to a young man who advised that his dog was gone. The young man was provided a ride to the area the dog was running. The dog was quickly leashed and returned home with the young person.

July 13 10:15 a.m.

Call received from neighbor about barking dogs as part of an animal abuse and neglect call. Officer spoke to a neighbor who advised that the dogs belonged to another tenant in the same apartment.

4:57 p.m.

A check person complaint was received which resulted in an animal complaint. Report to follow. July 14 5:37 a.m.

Stanley Police were called to assist Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office with a one-vehicle roll over located near the intersection of 115th Avenue and 345th Street. The vehicle was found to be unoccupied and had been abandoned hours earlier. Officer remained on scene until deputies could respond. 1:01 p.m.

Stanley Police were requested in the parking lot at Kwik Trip for a two-vehicle accident. Accident report was completed.

4:45 p.m.

Stanley Police took a report of a fraud that had occurred on North Franklin Street. Victim has been in contact with law enforcement in jurisdiction where suspect is possibly located. Report to follow.

8:19 p.m.

Police were requested for an EMS call related to a homeless woman.

8:52 p.m.

Police were requested for an EMS call with few specifics.

11:40 p.m.

Police were requested for a harassment complaint at the Stanley Travel Stop.

July 15 12:23 a.m.

Police were requested for a fire call in the 200 block of East First Avenue.

2:42 a.m.

Stanley Officer Trey and handler were requested to assist the Clark County Sheriff’s Office.

11:32 a.m.

Stanley Police were requested to respond to State Highway 29 for a vehicle that was eastbound with children who did not appear to have seatbelts on. Area was checked and no vehicles matching the description were located.
