The Town of Edson Board held its monthly meeting on Monday, June 8. Topics on the agenda included road work, approval of work permits, and the approval and renewal of liquor licenses. Safety at the intersection of County Highway MM and County Highway G became an important point of the meeting as residents raised concerns about the frequency of accidents there. When asked by a resident whether the intersection was something to be concerned about, Chairman Dan Pilgrim responded, “Oh, it’s something to be worried about.” Supervisor Jim Junker echoed those concerns, adding, “There’s been too many accidents there,” while Pilgrim encouraged residents to contact the county regarding the issue. The next Town of Edson board meeting is scheduled for July 13th at 7 p.m.
