The Boyd Chamber of Commerce has been busy making plans for the annual Ringelspiel Days. This year’s event will be held May 22, 23 and 24 at Lotz Park in Boyd. Carnival rides and games for the weekend will be provided by Badgerland /Get’R Fried Amusements. They will be on hand Friday from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., Saturday noon to 10 p.m., and Sunday 1:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Advance ticket sales are online only at www.scan2scan.com/show/boyd-ringelspiel-days#!/
Food for the weekend will include St Joseph’s Food Wagon on Friday and Saturday featuring their famous Philly steak sandwiches, hamburgers, cheeseburgers, chicken nuggets and fries. The Boyd American Legion will be providing brats and hot dogs, and the Stanley Rodeo will be frying up cheese curds all weekend. On Sunday, the Boyd Lions Club will again provide charcoal chicken starting at noon. 8 Seconds will provide music Friday in the beer tent from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Saturday starts with Boyd Lions Club free bingo in the large pavilion from 12 p.m. to 1:30. Miss Boyd, Junior Miss Boyd and Little Miss Boyd crowning will be held in the large pavilion at 1:30 p.m. Paint Me First Professional face painting will be on hand from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The Pedal Pull sign up is scheduled for 1 p.m. with a 2 p.m. starting time by the T-ball field. There will be a Dart Tournament in the large pavilion with 1pm sign up. Darts will start flying at 2 p.m. Saturday night will have Fully Loaded in the beer tent from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Sunday starts with the Miss Boyd Queens Tea at the Boyd Legion Hall from 10 a.m. to noon. The parade will again travel up Murray Street beginning at 1 p.m. Line-up begins at 11 a.m. Kevin’s Balloons will be at the park from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. providing entertainment for the children. Live music in the park will be provided by Brady Booth from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m.
