Ringelspiel touches down Friday in Boyd

It comes but once a year to Lotz Park in Boyd. As of Friday, Ringelspiel is here!
“Ringelspiel means a ring of fun!” Boyd Chamber President Cory Zais said Monday.
The fun starts this Friday evening with a carnival, games, and food stands from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. by Get R. Fried Midway, along with music by 8 Seconds in the beer tent from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Tickets prices this year range from $5 for five tickets with all-in pricing, as well as $10, $25, and $32 options, with last offering unlimited rides during open hours. See the QR code on page 12 to purchase.
Other food stands Friday and Saturday include St. Joseph’s School Lunchbox with Philly cheesesteak as well as hamburgers and cheeseburgers, the Boyd American Legion with brats and hot dogs, and Stanley Rodeo with cheese curds.
The fun continues Saturday with free Bingo in the large pavilion at 12:00 p.m., sponsored by the Boyd Lions. Miss Boyd will be crowned after bingo around 1:30 p.m. with face painting, a dart tournament, and pedal pull contest in the afternoon. Music will be provided by Fully Loadid in the beer tent from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
Come Sunday, there will be a Queen Tea with Miss Boyd at the Boyd Legion Hall on Clark Street from 10 a.m. to non, with parade lineup from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Food stands Sunday include the Boyd Lions Club with Charcoal Chicken, Boyd American Legion with brats and hot dogs, and Stanley Rodeo with cheese curds. The parade will be held at 1 p.m. on Murray Street, with the Balloon Guy from 2 to 5 p.m. and Music by Brady Booth in the beer tent at 2 p.m.
