Robert (Rob) C. Wilbur, age 58, of Unity, WI, passed away Saturday, December 3rd, 2022 at his home, surrounded by his loving family while under the care of St. Croix Hospice, and special care givers Tracy (Trace) and ToniAnn.
Rob worked at Unity Dairy for years before joining the Laborers Union where he began his career as a pipe layer in sewer and water. He retired from Local 268 in 2019.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting, making firewood, and socializing at local taverns with family and friends. Rob loved spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived and will be dearly missed by his daughter Melissa Brost; grandchildren Trucker (Tuck), Theodore (Teddy), Faith (Button), and the family dog “For Da Paco;” Parents Charles Wilbur and Marian Lockhart, brothers Ron (Lana) Wilbur, Rick (Deb) Wilbur: sisters Laura (Jim) Junker, Michelle Schaefer, (Mitch Cliver), Nancy (Brian) Geiger; stepsisters Cindy, Diana, Amy; many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
He was preceded in death by his stepmother Judy, stepbrother Bart, and his grandparents.
A Celebration of Life will be at the Unity Memorial Hall in Unity WI on Feb. 25th, 2023 at 1:00 p.m.
