Roger W. Ploeger, 84 of Stanley, passed away on December 30, 2022. He was born on September 4, 1938 in Marshfield the son of the late Willard A and Josephine B (Nazda) Ploeger. Roger went to grade and high school in Mankato, MN. He was in the Air Force from 1957-1961. He married Kathie Goulet in Chippewa Falls on May 31, 1980.
Roger worked heavy road construction in the Chippewa Falls/Eau Claire area, Spectrum Industries of Chippewa Falls and the Northern Center. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and wood working. Roger was a member of the NRA and the American Legion.
He is survived by his wife, Kathie, his children, Penna Leake and Jeffrey Ploeger, 7 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, his brothers, Bill, Don, Chuck and Ron and one sister, Jean Ann Linquist. Roger is preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Kim Ann Sams.
Per his request no services will be held. Plombon Funeral Service assisted the family.
