The Class of 2021 Awards Program was held at the local high school gym on Thursday, May 27. Thanks to the generosity of alumni donors in 2020, three $1,500 scholarships were presented to this year's winners pictured above. With no annual banquet in 2020, due to the pandemic, alumni were asked to donate so scholarships could still be presented. The overwhelming support, in the amount of over $15,000, allowed the association to present three $1,500 scholarships this year and add $10,000 to the corpus of its scholarship investment fund. Typically, a Silent Auction held each year at the Annual All-School Reunion, helps fund the scholarship offerings. All those who attended Stanley-Boyd Schools are automatically members of the Stanley-Boyd Alumni Association and are welcome to attend the annual gathering. The annual event will return this year and will be held on Saturday, October 2. Invitation letters will be mailed soon. An invitation form will also be placed in this newspaper for use by anyone who doesn't receive an invitation in the mail. The Co-Host Classes of 1960 and 1961 are hoping for a good attendance.
