S-B FFA Advisor throws first pitch at Brewers game

The Milwaukee Brewers held the 25th annual Farmers Day at their home game July 25, and one Stanley-Boyd face was especially prominent on the field: Stanley-Boyd FFA Advisor Jordan Donnerbauer, who threw the first pitch.
The Farmers Day event, said by the Brewers as about “feeding our future and empowering the next generation of agriculture leaders,” also marks 25 years at their home field.
Donnerbauer shared more on how the process to throw the first pitch July 25 went down.
“My FFA members nominated me at State FFA Convention through Culver’s,” he said. “I was selected and Culver’s asked if I wanted to throw out the first pitch and I of course said yes.”
Throwing the first pitch came with perks.
“I got two tickets to the game, suite access with air conditioning, food, and drink,” Donnerbauer said. “Culver’s also gave me a gift bag with coupons, a t-shirt, and other little goodies.”
As for the experience, Donnerbauer said it was “once in a lifetime.”
“It was a once in a lifetime experience being on the field, seeing the players up close, and of course to be able to throw out the first pitch and keep that ball,” he said, adding of the pitch itself “Yes. A strike right down the middle!”
