With Stanley-Boyd heading to the Barron Invitational Saturday, Dec. 9, many notable results returned.

Anna Krizan and Breckin Burzynski both took first in their weight classes, while Landen Hoel took second, Willy Graham third and Troy Trevino fifth.

Not a bad day for the Orioles, all things considered.

Starting things out, Anna Krizan (4-0) placed first and scored 18 team points in the 107 - 114 pound weight class, winning by fall over Madilyn Martin (2-2) of Ashland Girls, Taya Jossar (1-3) of Cameron Girls, Jade Halvorson (1-3) of Ashland Girls), and Jorey Feidt (2-2) of Barron Girls.

Coming in next for the recap, Breckin Burzynski (38-14) placed first in the 138 pound weight class and scored 49 team points, winning by major decision (MD 13 -1) over Isaac Dunnom (9-1) of Osceola in the First Place Match.

Taking second in the 144 pound weight class meanwhile, was Landen Hoel (30-18), who scored 44 team points and made it to the first place match against Trenton Kirkland (46-10) of Hayward/Northwood, falling by Decision (10-3).

Placing third in the 285 pound weight class at Barron, Willy Graham (33-19) competed for Stanley-Boyd to score 37 team points, winning the Third Place Match by Fall (0:52) over Ethan Wagner of Clear Lake (40-17).

Placing fifth in the 138 pound weight class, Troy Trevino (33-15) won by Fall (3:50) over Owen Anderson of Turtle Lake/Clayton.

150 pound Brody Westrom (13-15) and 215 pound Carter Weltzin (202) both placed seventh, with Westrom scoring 27 team points and Weltzin scoring 29 team points. Candin Yeager (10-4) , meanwhile, placed 10th in the and scored 19 team points.

Darrin Dorn (1-3) placed eighth in the 132 pound weight class and scored 26 team points while Stephen Lin (0-3) placed 12th in the 120 pound weight class and scored 7 team points.

Competing in the JV division at Barron and placing second was Caiden Paul, with a 7-4 record overall in the 144-pound weight class.
