Seven Oriole varsity wrestlers have been named to the Cloverbelt All Conference listings.
Named to All Conference First Team were sophomore Ava Kempf, junior Neveah Walters, and senior Aaron Sturm. Named to All Conference Second Team were senior Carter Weltzin, sophomore Koraline Pennala, junior Lillian Fitzl, and senior Willy Graham.
Oriole varsity wrestling coach Jake Fitzsimmons shared more.
“I was happy for these 7 wrestlers to earn all conference honors as all 7 of these athletes worked hard this year, he said. “For the boys it was awesome to see all 3 of these Seniors finish their careers with recognition. I was especially happy for Aaron Sturm. Aaron missed the conference tournament last year due to being sick. In order to be All Conference the boys have to make the conference finals and place top 2 in a 10 team tournament. This year girls were nominated and voted on by the coaches.”
