Light Up The City Details
The Stanley Community Association will be hosting some holiday fun this year, with a holiday decoration competition and Snowman Shuffle.
As to the Light Up the City holiday decorating competition, businesses and homeowners will have their displays lit up from 6-9pm on Saturday December 18th, Sunday December 19th and Monday December 20th. The community is encouraged to drive through town and look at all the residential displays and business displays before casting their vote.
Voting will take place in two ways: 1. Paper Ballot–paper ballots can be picked up at Soo Line Park on Saturday December 18th from 3-7pm or a .pdf of the ballot can be found on our website (stanleycommunity.us) or on our Facebook page. Print the ballot and fill it out. It can be dropped off at Soo Line park at the before mentioned time period or can be dropped off at City Hall on Monday December 20th or Tuesday December 21st during normal business hours.
2. Online voting will be available on our facebook page–pictures or a short video will be uploaded to Facebook and community members can vote by clicking “like” on the picture or video of the display.
