1942-2020
Sharon L Stromme, 78 of Alexandria, MN, formerly of Chokio, died Friday, December 18, 2020 at Sandford Hospital in Fargo, ND. She was born on March 20, 1942 at Victory Memorial Hospital- Stanley to the late Alfred and Irene (Green) Berseth. Sharon grew up in Stanley and graduated from Stanley High.
She went on to college to UW Eau Claire and then the Technical College and received her degree. Sharon was a paralegal for Honeywell for many years. She and her husband Orlyn started Stomme sanitation and operated their business until her retirement.
Sharon loved her horses along with her sleigh, was the President of the Elizabeth Taylor’s fan club and like to play bingo.
Sharon is survived by her niece, Mary Maderich of Ashland, her grand nieces, Loren and Holly Maderich, her grand nephews, Ian and Owen Jacobson, Eric and Aaron Eldred and some cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sister Carol Jacobson, her brother in infancy, Richard, her niece Karen Eldred and her nephew Dan Jacobson.
A funeral service will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, December 23rd at the Plombon Funeral Home-Stanley with Rev. Ken Schmidt from Our Savior’s Lutheran Church of_ciating. Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to services.
