1937 – 2023
Shirley Ann Oyama, 85 of Mesa, Ari., formerly of Stanley, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2023. She was born on April 17, 1937 in Stanley to the late Adolph and Martha (Rossow) Kosar. Shirley grew up in the area and attended East Riverside grade school and Stanley High. She worked for Western Electric in Chicago from 1955-58. She also worked at the Stanley Clinic from 19761998.
Shirley married Edmund Amdahl in 1958. Edmund died in 1963. Shirley married Ernest Oyama in 1967. He died in 2003.
A memorial service is being planned for sometime in April.
