The Stanley-Boyd Orioles wrestling team lost its opening match Monday night in Cloverbelt Conference action.
Wrestling is limited to just one match a week this year by WIAA rules, and the Orioles were far from at full strength for the match.
Two-time WIAA State Champ Blaine Brenner won his first match of his senior season.
Other S-B wrestlers getting wins were Russell Dorn, and freshmen Troy Trevino and Breckin Burzynski. Dale Styles also won by forfeit.
The Orioles fell in the match 54-27.
“We have up six forfeits, need to get everyone on the mat and in the lineup,” said Coach Greg Burzynski.
