The Stanley High School, Class of 1960, came together for its annual gathering on Thursday, April 16. The class meets each year on the third Thursday of April and all those who were in their freshman class are invited to attend. The gathering took place at Debbie’s on Broadway where they were served a delicious dinner of broasted chicken or beef tips over mashed potatoes.
Class President Dave Jankoski welcomed the attendees and thanked them for their attendance. The gathering was informal and allowed each member attending to provide an update on their own happenings and to report on other classmates who they are in touch with on a regular basis. The gathering provides an opportunity for a great deal of socializing and those attending look forward to their annual meeting.
Prior to adjournment, President Jankoski thanked Diane (Herrick) Meyer for her help with organizing the annual gathering.
